A Well of Resources at Our Fingertips
Nomad staff have access to an extensive library of scientific, academic, and historical literature specific to the natural sciences of California and the Bay Area with an emphasis on the floristics and wildlife of the region. Access to these resources help when analyzing impacts or stewardship considerations in a variety of scenarios. To complement our library, we maintain a working relationship with the librarians, curators, and biologists affiliated with libraries and institutions such as the U.C. Berkeley and Jepson Herbariums, the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology at U.C. Berkeley, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Biogeographic Data Branch, and California Native Plant Society’s Inventory of Rare, Threatened, and Endangered Species, among others.
