Rare Plant Surveys for Redwood Creek Trail Realignment

Nomad conducted protocol-level rare plant surveys for California State Park’s Redwood Creek Trail Realignment Project. The surveys covered potential impact areas of the project, which included a section of the existing trail that was decommissioned, along with a new trail alignment. A review of the available databases and literature, combined with Nomad’s expertise in the regional flora and habitats present within the study area, determined that 24 special-status plant species had the potential to occur within the study area.
